As for the final projects, I haven’t thought much about it. But I still have some clarifying questions at this point.
First, what’s the format of this project? In this class, we have tried and experienced various kinds of platform such as edstem and the wordpress in the catapult. And we have learned from historical manuscript to the modern data analysis tool-R language. All the things we covered make me wonder the possible layout of our final project. Is it like a complex including everything we covered before or we can decide to choose the So I’d like to know about the specific requirement of the whole package. And how we can present the project to other audiences?
Second, for the data we collected, is there a limited range for that or the data in some specific contexts like history or humanity-related topics. From the reading and video materials, I found that most of them are about social disparity and power dominances exerted to minor or disadvantaged groups. Do we need to address the issues too or we can have explorations in other social topics.
Last but not least, I wonder the specific requirement or expectations to our data analysis section. From the labs, videos, and class reviews, we have learned a number of tools and functions in analyzing the dataset. But I haven’t done much about the visualization of the analytic results. So, do we need to visualize some analytical results in the project?
